La violenza contro le donne: modalità di una sofferenza che non muta

The aim of this article is to present the main results of a crime victimisation survey about intimate partner violence. This study was realised thanks to the cooperation between C.I.R.Vi.S.-SDE (Interdisciplinary Centre of Research on Victimology and Security – Department of Sociology and Business Law) of the University of Bologna, local authorities of Cervia (RA) and Russi (RA), and LineaRosa, Centre for Domestic Violence based in Ravenna. An awareness-raisingcampaign on gender violence and an increase of educational actions are two cornerstone objectives which could prevent placing again, in the near future, the word “feminicide” near the word “emergency”. It is necessary to be aware that this phenomenon is not an emergency, but unfortunately is a deep-rooted phenomenon and it calls for a combined effort by all of us in order to prevent it and to fight against it.

L’obiettivo del presente articolo è quello di presentare i principali risultati di una indagine di vittimizzazione sulla violenza nei rapporti di coppia realizzata grazie alla collaborazione tra il C.I.R.Vi.S.-SDE (Centro Interdisciplinare di Ricerca sulla Vittimologia e sulla Sicurezza, afferente al Dipartimento di Sociologia e Diritto dell‟Economia) dell‟Università di Bologna, le amministrazioni comunali di Cervia (RA) e di Russi (RA) e LineaRosa, centro antiviolenza con sede a Ravenna.

Una sensibilizzazione mirata al problema della violenza di genere e la moltiplicazione delle iniziative formative rappresentano due capisaldi che potrebbero impedire, in un prossimo futuro, di accostare ancora la parola femminicidio all‟emergenza, nella consapevolezza che non si tratta di un‟emergenza, bensì, purtroppo, di un fenomeno che dimora nella nostra società e che richiede, per essere adeguatamente prevenuto e represso, lo sforzo di tutti.

Arts and Dior: The Meaning-Making Process in Perfume Advertisement

Advertising has always been a very controversial theme, discussed for a very long time and still object of numerous studies. What surprises the most is the fact that this tool is so effective that it can awake feelings and trigger emotions related to different categories of products which cannot be simply described with words. This paper seeks to analyse a corpus of perfume advertisements of the fashion house Dior. The work is focused on this type of texts for two main reasons. The first one is that advertising a perfume is always a difficult task. To undertake a work that involves the description of a product which doesn’t have mere practical features and that has a narrow selection of vocabulary is really challenging. The second reason is that the advertisements analysed are not photographs, as it usually happens for this kind of publicity, but are hand drawn illustrations from artists coming from the world of fashion and of comics.

Dalla sua nascita fino all‟epoca moderna, la pubblicità ha vissuto una continua metamorfosi: dall‟essere una mera descrizione del prodotto è diventata sempre più indiretta, e persino metaforica, e ha cominciato ad avvalersi di altre forme di comunicazione in aggiunta a quelle garantite dal codice verbale. Alcune tipologie di messaggi pubblicitari, infatti, fanno leva sulle illustrazioni in ragione della mancanza di caratteristiche fisiche evidenti del prodotto commercializzato.

Questo è proprio il caso dei profumi. Obiettivo dell‟articolo è di indagare i processi di costruzione delle pubblicità per profumi, prendendo in analisi un corpus di otto immagini pubblicitarie della casa di moda Dior. Quattro reclamizzano il profumo da donna “Miss Dior”, mentre le restanti quattro il profumo da uomo “Eau Sauvage”.

La particolarità di queste pubblicità è che non sponsorizzano il prodotto attraverso l‟uso della fotografia, bensì le immagini utilizzate sono dei dipinti a inchiostro dell‟illustratore di moda René Gruau, e degli artisti del fumetto Hugo Pratt, Philippe Francq e Jean Van Hamme. L‟analisi tenta di prendere in considerazione tanto gli aspetti semiotici delle immagini, quanto quelli retorici dei testi verbali.

Il tema del rapporto tra Stato e mercato è stato costantemente evitato nel dibattito politico sullo sviluppo economico del nostro paese. In questo articolo, Gerardo Ragone pone, invece, in luce le caratteristiche fondamentali di questo rapporto, partendo dalla considerazione che Stato e mercato sono le due facce di una stessa medaglia, sono cioè due istituzioni “complementari”, quindi entrambe essenziali per la crescita economica e la modernizzazione di un paese.
